In 1997, Tim Hite saw an opportunity to serve his community by opening a local auto body shop. What started as a small, two-person operation quickly grew into a premier, full-service collision center capable of handling every automotive repair need.

  • What can I do if my insurance writes me an estimate?

    The length of time it takes to repair your vehicle depends on the extent of the damage, the specific repairs needed, and parts availability. Rest assured, we will also provide repair updates while your vehicle is at our facility. 

  • My insurance says I need to go to a shop in another town, do I have to go there?

    The cost of repairs depends on a variety of factors, including the extent of the damage, the parts and materials needed, and the labor required to complete the repairs. We always provide our customers with transparent pricing information. 

  • My vehicle is not drivable what should I do?

    After reporting the accident to your insurance provider, call a tow truck to deliver your vehicle to Hite Auto Body. We will cover the upfront towing fee and bill it directly to your insurance.

  • Does Hites offer towing?

    No, we do not operate an in-house towing service, but we regularly coordinate with local tow companies to receive non-drivable vehicles.

  • Does Hites offer free estimates?

    Yes, we provide completely free professional repair estimates on the spot.

  • What if I can't pay my deductible?

    To help ease the financial burden, Hite Auto Body allows you to make flexible payments on your deductible leading up to the completion of your repairs.

  • How many days can I use a loaner from my insurance?

    Most insurance companies cover a rental vehicle for up to 30 days from the start of your rental. We will update your rental company directly regarding any changes to your estimated completion date to ensure you are covered.

  • I think my vehicle might be a total loss.

    We work with insurance companies every week to navigate the total loss process. This situation can be overwhelming, and we are here to walk you through every step at absolutely no cost to you.
